long time comin'

Today's the day! I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed (whatever that means) at 0430, unable to fall back to sleep out of sheer joy that I have an entire day ahead of me to do whatever I please. No diapers. No buckling and unbuckling wiggly kids in carseats. No guilt over pouring over a stack of magazines while Matt wrangles the crazies kids.

Ok, pause. I love my husband and kids to death. Sometimes, a girl just needs a break. Okay, un-pause.

Of course, in my stupidly type A nature, I couldn't just "wing" a day off, so I have just spent the past half hour creating a master plan on Googlemaps. Let's just say it involves three coffee shops, several fun thrift stores, Joann Fabrics (because, you know, I'm such an accomplished seamstress and all), and other various and sundry places through which I can wander to my heart's delight.
